Loosely inspired by the life of chef and food personality Eddie Huang, this sitcom follows his Taiwanese-American family - parents Louis and Jessica, brothers Emery and Evan, and Louis's mother, Jenny, as they move from Washington to Orlando to open a restaurant. Join them as they get into a lot of funny and unexpected situations and face many difficulties in an attempt to overcome cultural differences in their search for better life, meeting some new friends along the way. As they try to assimilate with the new culture around them, Huangs also stay in touch with their Taiwanese heritage.
