3rd Rock from the Sun

3rd Rock from the Sun is an American sitcom about four extraterrestrials from another galaxy, who come down to Earth on a research expedition. They take human form to get as close as possible to understanding human nature. Everything is new to them, so naturally they get in all sorts of humorous situations, as they try to make sense of the way society on Earth works. They move into an attic apartment in the fictional city of Rutherford, and pose as a family. Dick takes up the role of the family provider, as he gets a job as a physics professor. As the show progresses they start to enjoy human life and develop meaningful relationships with human beings.
