Frontiersman Colbert sets up a trotline to catch fish while he works on his cabin. With spring quickly approaching, time is critical to get his cabin built before the mosquitoes arrive. While having Delia by his side has many advantages, it also means that woodsman Thorn needs to secure twice as many resources to survive. He struggles to find a balance between finding more meat in the dwindling trapping season, and winterizing his and Delia's bus for the cold. Hunter-gatherer Matt has settled into a new canyon full of diverse plant life. However, despite the lush landscape, protein sources appear scarce and Matt must assess whether this new location can sustain him. Homesteaders Tony and Amelia get to work building a windmill in their yard. If successful, the windmill will be able to provide them electricity for a number of different tasks around the homestead.
