Frederike lebab pärast suusaõnnetust juba kaheksa kuud koomas ja tema mehel Kilianil on uus armastus Isabel. Kilian varjab uut suhet tütre Nina eest. Nina saab aga Markuselt selle saladuse teada, ärritub ning tormab Isabeli juurde. Tüli viib selleni, et Isabeliga juhtub õnnetus. Samal ajal ärkab Frederike ootamatult koomast.
