Tibetan Antelope: Mysterious Migration

Every year tens of thousands of female Tibetan antelope, or ‘chiru’, migrate from their winter feeding and mating grounds to their summer birthing grounds, high on the Tibetan plateau, before returning with their calves. It’s a monumental feat of endurance, and a journey fraught with danger. Tibetan wolves shadow their every move, and the weather can turn in an instant.
